Requirements

Proven experience as an automotive technician, specifically with used vehicles
Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Valid automotive technician certification or relevant technical training
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics on used vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and safety issues
Conduct repairs and maintenance, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and other systems
Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure optimal performance
Document all work performed accurately and maintain detailed service records
Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding vehicle conditions and repair needs
Adhere to safety standards and manufacturer specifications during all repair activities
