About The Position

MINI of Portland Now Hiring Used Vehicle Technician! Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday Responsibilities Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy on all makes and models, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards. Diagnose cause of malfunction. Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements. Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work. Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures. Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results. Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training. Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management. Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience as a technician in a vehicle repair shop or dealership, required
  • Passed manufacturer training and can perform repairs in the following areas with no supervision: Lube and Maintenance Services Engine Repair Suspension/Steering Repair Brake Repair Heating and A/C Repair (Optional)
  • High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
