Requirements

Proven experience as a Used Cars Sales Manager or similar leadership role
Strong knowledge of used-vehicle operations , inventory sourcing, and appraisals
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams
Strong financial acumen with forecasting and budget management experience
Excellent communication, organization , and customer-resolution skills
Experience with dealership technology, CRM tools, and inventory software

Responsibilities

Lead, hire, train, and motivate the used-vehicle sales team
Maintains vehicle inventory and uses current technology to determine which vehicles to stock.
Conducts daily and weekly sales and sales training meetings
Forecast sales, gross profit, and expenses; manage department budget
Appraise seen and purchased used vehicles ; manage inventory and turn policy
Source inventory through trades, auctions, and market analysis
Oversee reconditioning , merchandising, and vehicle display – taking time and budget targets into consideration
Ensure strong customer follow-up and 100% F&I turnover
Assist in closing deals and resolving customer concerns
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
