Requirements

• Proven experience as a Used Car Manager or in a similar automotive role
• Strong skills in inventory acquisition and appraisal
• Deep understanding of market-based pricing and digital merchandising
• Ability to lead, motivate, and work closely with a sales team
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on profitability and growth
• Excellent organizational and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Source and acquire quality pre-owned inventory through auctions, trades, and direct purchases
• Manage inventory levels, pricing strategies, and vehicle aging to maximize profitability
• Oversee merchandising, including online listings, vehicle presentation, and lot organization
• Collaborate with the sales team to drive unit sales and improve closing ratios
• Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to stay competitive
• Monitor and improve gross profit per unit and overall department performance
• Ensure all vehicles meet company standards for reconditioning and front-line readiness
