The Scott Family of Dealerships is currently looking for a clerk to join our Used Car Department! Auto Experience or Administrative experience preferred but will be happy to train the right candidate! . PURPOSE: To assist the Used Car Department with inventory management, paperwork, filing, and overall departmental support to ensure operational success. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Create stock cards, deal jackets, and key tags Coordinate vehicle pickups with drivers Work with administrative staff to certify vehicles with manufacturers and ensure proper documentation is placed in deal jackets Assist with wholesale inventory management, including tracking titles Work closely with the Administrative Office and Title Department Work closely with Used Car Managers and lot attendants Organization and Attention to detail are imperative in this role. OTHER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Maintain a positive and professional image for the company Resolve issues as they arise Perform additional duties as assigned Attend company meetings and events MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: Prior experience preferred, but not required Basic computer skills General office skills Indoor office environment QUALIFICATIONS Excellent communication and listening skills Positive, outgoing personality Punctual, dependable, and flexible in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and willingness to learn Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record This job description does not list all the duties of the job.
