About The Position

Used Car Buyer (Acquisitions Specialist) Port Orchard Ford | Performance-Based Compensation Port Orchard Ford is looking for a driven, disciplined Used Car Buyer to help us aggressively grow our used vehicle inventory. This role is not traditional car sales and is not a desk job . This is an acquisition-focused position responsible for sourcing and purchasing vehicles directly from private sellers using platforms like Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and other third-party websites . If you are persistent, organized, comfortable on the phone, and motivated by results, this role offers strong earning potential. What You’ll Be Responsible For Sourcing vehicles directly from private sellers online Managing Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and similar platforms daily Making outbound calls, texts, and messages to potential sellers Following up consistently over time to convert conversations into purchases Negotiating vehicle purchases and coordinating appraisals Working closely with management to close acquisitions Creating short-form marketing videos (you must be comfortable on camera) Maintaining accurate records of conversations and follow-ups This Role Is a Strong Fit If You Are persistent and comfortable with rejection Enjoy outbound calls and follow-up work Can manage multiple conversations and leads at once Are organized, self-motivated, and accountable Are comfortable being on video for marketing purposes Want performance-based income with no cap Are hungry, competitive, and results-driven This Role Is Not a Fit If You Prefer inbound-only work Avoid phone calls or follow-up Need constant supervision Are uncomfortable on camera Expect guaranteed pay without production Compensation Performance-based pay per vehicle purchased No cap on earnings Earnings are directly tied to results and consistency Training, tools, and support provided (Details discussed during interview.)
