What the day will look like Senior Account Representative Colleagues help clients understand, manage and transfer risk through innovative reinsurance solutions.  The role is immediately client-facing, offering exposure to high-level executives and decision-makers at clients and reinsurance providers. Senior Account Representatives work on multiple accounts as part of a larger broker team which requires strong communication and collaboration skills.  Candidates will develop comprehensive reinsurance market and industry knowledge while working on predominately Property-focused clients, with a focus on Florida, the Southeast, and Nationwide portfolios. Over time, colleagues will have increasing opportunities for domestic and international travel to client and reinsurer meetings and to take on expanded roles in developing strategic and innovative solutions for clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Math, a related field or equivalent years of industry experience required
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience in the Insurance/Reinsurance Industry required
  • Proven analytical skills - prior analytical and problem-solving experience from academic and/or business environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products, with intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Access is a strong plus. 
  • Ability to collaborate well with others and to interact with variety of audiences
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple assignments, work well with minimal supervision and meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Open to travel for business within the Southeastern United States, up to 4 times per year

Responsibilities

  • Support broking teams in servicing reinsurance clients, including developing innovative solutions and strategic advice to address client needs
  • Build out internal and external networks to assist in growth efforts
  • Source new revenue opportunities
  • Communicate with and participate in reinsurer meetings and discussions regarding client program placements
  • Prepare formal reinsurance submission materials and executive-facing presentations
  • Assist in the technical analysis of client information
  • Collaborate with various supporting teams within Aon Reinsurance Solutions such as catastrophe modeling, actuarial and contract wording to bring the best of Aon to client
  • Assist in logistical coordination of client meetings and trips
