About The Position

We are seeking a highly accomplished US Principal within the Department of Built Environment and Infrastructure to lead transformative consulting initiatives across complex, large -scale infrastructure and built environment projects. As a key strategic leader, you will drive innovation, ensure technical excellence, and deliver high -impact solutions for public and private sector clients across the United States. This role demands deep expertise in infrastructure systems, built environment strategy, and cybersecurity (SOC) integration within physical and digital asset frameworks. You will serve as a trusted advisor to C -suite executives, shape the future of resilient, sustainable, and secure infrastructure, and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects that meet evolving regulatory, environmental, and security standards. Your leadership will directly influence national infrastructure resilience, digital transformation, and long -term asset performance, positioning our firm as a leader in integrated built environment consulting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure or built environment consulting, with a proven track record in leading large -scale, complex projects.
  • In -depth knowledge of built environment systems, including urban planning, transportation networks, utilities, and sustainable infrastructure development.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state regulatory frameworks governing infrastructure, data security, and environmental compliance.
  • Advanced degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Infrastructure Management, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent professional certification).
  • Proven leadership in multidisciplinary teams, with experience managing client relationships at executive levels.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into business value.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the United States to support client engagements and site assessments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with project lifecycle management, risk assessment, and digital twin or smart infrastructure technologies is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic consulting engagements focused on built environment and infrastructure systems across transportation, energy, water, and urban development sectors.
  • Spearhead the integration of cybersecurity principles—including Security Operations Center (SOC) frameworks—into infrastructure design, operations, and lifecycle management.
  • Advise clients on risk mitigation, resilience planning, and compliance with federal, state, and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, FERC, ASCE).
  • Mentor and lead senior consultants, project managers, and technical specialists to ensure delivery excellence and professional development.
  • Develop thought leadership through whitepapers, industry presentations, and participation in public policy and standards -setting forums.
  • Collaborate with cross -functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that align technical, financial, and sustainability objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities, lead business development efforts, and contribute to proposal development for major public and private infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet quality, compliance, and security benchmarks, with a focus on long -term asset performance and lifecycle optimization.
