Requirements

  • Current 1L in an accredited law school
  • 3.0 GPA or greater, which must be maintained throughout employment
  • Must be able to work at GE Aerospace’s Cincinnati, Ohio facility during the summer on a full-time basis, up to 40 hours per week
  • Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Responsibilities

  • Support legal function as needed, potentially including reviewing or drafting corporate resolutions, contracts, amendments, memos, motions, proposals, marketing materials, communications and disclosures
  • Complete legal research and provide clear, concise summaries, both verbal and written
  • Strong involvement in department initiatives
  • Willingness to assume responsibilities consistent with department goals

  • The pay rate for this position is $35/hour.
  • Relocation support and housing assistance is available for eligible new hires who must relocate to a new city for the summer.
