About The Position

AB PAC, a progressive research and communications organization dedicated to holding Republicans accountable for their words and actions, is hiring a Research Associate to join our U.S. House Campaigns research team for the 2026 cycle. This position is based in our Washington, DC office.

Requirements

  • Self-motivation, the ability to work independently and exercise discretion and independent judgment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with primary source documents and research databases such as LexisNexis is preferred.
  • Previous political research experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Working as part of a team to produce comprehensive opposition research products on Republican candidates in competitive House of Representatives races across the country
  • Collecting information from public sources, including legislative votes, news clips, campaign finance reports, financial and legal records, and research databases
  • Reporting results and findings to senior staff
  • Performing rapid response research projects in key electoral races
  • Other duties as needed
