About The Position

Follow ADF safety procedures and practices.
Read and understand semi-complex fabrication blueprints.
Safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools.
Identify all important symbols and dimensions on blueprints.
Proficient in laying out parts, holes, copes, and bevels.
Fit semi-complex assemblies with little to no errors.
Proficient workflow management skills (planning for self and 2-3 others).
Weld in the flat (1G), horizontal (2G), and vertical (3G) positions.
Understands heat distortion and prevention.
Understands types of welding discontinuities, prevention, and repair.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Proficient in oxyfuel and plasma cutting processes.
Ability to operate under strict deadlines and possess leadership abilities.
General understanding of heat cambering.
