The opportunity The US Event Coordinator is responsible for supporting the SMM (Strategic Meetings Management) program through the coordination and execution of small to mid-scale internal and client events taking place in EY offices, as well as facilitating the usage of Small Meeting Technologies (SMTs) for off-site events while adhering to the EY Meetings & Events (M&E) guidelines. The individual will also be responsible for sourcing room blocks of 20-99 cumulative and assisting with registration sites through our Small Meeting Technology, Planned. You may work with EY teams (CBRE, OSTS, Creative Services, etc.) in the delivery of events and may also act as the project manager for department projects and initiatives. Your key responsibilities The Event Coordinator core purpose of the role is to deliver exceptional experience and adhering to EY policies and SES key goals and objectives. You will partner with meeting sponsor and/or requester to understand the requirements of their events. Follow EY guidelines starting from the event pre-approval process, recommend the best approach based on the assigned SES Service Level, and collaborate with SMTs/EY teams on the event logistics throughout the lifecycle of the event. You’ll consistently and seamlessly deliver meetings and events that add to the success of the meeting’s objectives, maximize value for the firm and optimize the meeting’s budget. In addition: Position is primarily remote, but may require on-site support at events to manage all logistical aspects of the meeting on-site which may require extended hours of work and ability to move quickly to multiple function locations Overtime may be required based on volume of work or scheduling Informs and makes recommendations to leadership regarding competing priorities and resource management issues Utilize Event Coordinator tools to enhance the overall stakeholder and event experience Responsible for the maintaining data in a timely and accurate manner Complete all EY required LEAD and Success Factor functions May be required to manage SES special business projects
