Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a global manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and internal controls.
  • Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead U.S. accounting operations including general ledger, financial reporting, cost/inventory accounting, and period-end closures.
  • Ensure timely and accurate budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure clear communication on actuals vs Forecast for the US businesses.
  • Deliver proactive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinates US Capex investments activities.
  • Support the Operations leadership teams for the US plants.
  • Business Partner at a Global Level for our Industrial Motion Business.
  • Oversee technical accounting functions: invoicing, costing, inventory, payroll/labor, and GL processes.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable to optimize working capital and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain proficiency in global financial systems to ensure data integrity and effective decision support.
  • Maintain and enhance internal control policies and procedures.
  • Support acquisition integration by aligning new processes with existing business standards.
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering ownership and accountability.
  • Promote continuous learning and professional development through training and industry engagement.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and ad-hoc requests across departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
