About The Position

The Opportunity: Enterprise AE – US Grocery Retail SeeChange isn’t your typical "let’s see if this works" startup. We have developed proven applications that help grocery retailers reduce their “shrink” (loss) by 50%. Product-market fit is proven by deployments in leading retailers and global partnerships with Tier 1 checkout providers. We have world-class AI engineering, an established GTM and big ambitions. Based in the UK, our US growth is moving fast. We’re past the "testing" phase; one major US retailer is in active deployment, and another Top tier US retailer is in the final stages of a successful pilot. Join us to capitalize on the momentum and drive it forward. What you’ll actually be doing As our first US hire, you aren't just managing a territory; you’re building the blueprint for our US business. This is a true "full-cycle" sales role. You’ll be responsible for: Opening doors: Proactively hunting for new opportunities—identifying, targeting, and engaging senior decision-makers at Tier 1 and Tier 2 US grocery retailers through outbound, referrals, and creative deal sourcing. Closing big deals: Leading the charge on 7-figure, multi-year enterprise agreements. Being the face of the brand: Whether it’s a boardroom pitch or a major industry event, you’ll be the person representing SeeChange in the US. Setting the strategy: We have the targets, but you are empowered to figure out the best way to win them. Who we’re looking for We need someone who thrives in the "zero-to-one" phase of a company—someone who is comfortable building a pipeline from scratch without a brand name to open the door for them. The Track Record: You’ve sold into the US Grocery Retail space before. You understand how these companies think, how they buy, and who the stakeholders are. You have a track record of closing deals in the $100k to $2M ARR range. The Experience: You’ve likely been the first sales hire at a start-up or a foreign company before. You know how to navigate long, complex sales cycles and the internal politics that come with enterprise deals. The Tech IQ: You don’t need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable explaining how AI and computer vision impact a retailer's bottom line. If you’re a "4 out of 10" on the technical scale, you’ll do great. The Mindset: You have a true hunter mentality—self-directed, persistent, and motivated by creating opportunities where none existed. You take ownership of building a territory from the ground up and turning it into a dominant market force. The Style: You’re consultative and value-led. You don’t just "sell"; you solve problems for executives. Why Join us? Proven Results: You aren’t selling "vaporware." Our tech is already live and proven with some of the biggest retailers in the world. The Upside: As the first US hire, you’ll receive a significant equity stake. We’ve also designed the commission structure to heavily reward enterprise wins. Full Support: You’re backed by an elite technical and ops team in Europe who will handle the heavy lifting on pilots and deployments.
