About The Position

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist for a multi-specialty practice in Bronx, New York. The role involves examining, diagnosing, and treating patient conditions and disorders related to genitourinary organs and tracts. The Urologist will be responsible for documenting patient histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, utilizing specialized equipment, performing surgeries when necessary, treating lower urinary tract dysfunctions, prescribing medications for various conditions including erectile dysfunction, infertility, or ejaculation problems, providing consultations, and directing other medical staff. Requirements

Must have an active NY State License
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible

Responsibilities

Examine, diagnose, and treat patient conditions and disorders of the genitourinary organs and tracts
Document and review patients' histories
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
Use specialized equipment, such as X-rays, fluoroscopes, and catheters
Perform abdominal, pelvic, or retroperitoneal surgeries when necessary
Treat lower urinary tract dysfunctions
Prescribe and administer antibiotics, antiseptics, or compresses to treat infections or injuries
Prescribe medications for patients with erectile dysfunction, infertility, or ejaculation problems
Provide Urology consultations or refer patients to specialists
Direct nurses, residents, or other staff
