About The Position

We're looking for a board-certified or board-eligible Urologist to join our team! Our service area has a huge need for Urology and you can be as busy as you would like right away. We have a growing team with great ancillary staff, a physician-led supportive administrative staff and great hospital partners.

Requirements

Residency in urology

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat illnesses and disorders of the organs of the urinary system
Provide specialized medical care to patients
Assemble appropriate diagnostic and treatment strategies
Maintain and update professional knowledge by participating in continuing medical education
Monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans and adjust to changes in patient conditions
Utilize physician referral services for consultations
Encourage and maintain open and supportive relationships with patients and their families
Maintain effective relationships with other physicians
Maintain patient confidentiality
Maintain appropriate documentation and records
Supervise well trained ancillary staff, to include PAs, Naps and nurses
Manage the full spectrum of multiple surgical procedures and non-surgical procedures for male and female patients, including prostate, kidney, bladder, and kidney stones
Perform office-based procedures such as cystoscopy, urodynamics, urodynamics with uroflowmetry, and bladder biopsies
Perform surgical procedures, including cystoscopy, TURP, ureteroscopy, prostatectomy, prostatectomy with pelvic lymph node dissection, and bladder neck suspension
Perform ultrasound-guided procedures and injections
Perform vascular and urologic procedures
Incoming patients, schedule appointments, and develop treatment plans
Perform minimally invasive surgery
Communicate with referring physicians, insurance companies, and other medical professionals
Attend staff meetings, conferences and continuing education courses
Manage patient records and billings
