Schmidt College of Medicine seeks a dynamic and collaborative Urologist to join our clinical faculty at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled and specialized medical professional responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases and conditions of the urinary tract and male reproductive system. This position offers the opportunity to provide exemplary, compassionate care within the Florida Atlantic Medical Group with a strong emphasis on serving our broad-based patient populations and actively engaging in teaching, mentorship, and scholarly activities within a thriving community-based medical school setting. Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution and credentials that merit appointment at the rank of assistant professor or higher required.
  • A Florida medical license, or the ability to obtain one, and ABMS Board certification or eligibility in Urology required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to academic teaching, scholarship, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical Care Provide comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical management for patients with urologic conditions including kidney, bladder, prostate, adrenal, and male reproductive disorders, with a focus on improving urological health outcomes.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic urologic procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and coordinated care.
  • Participate in hospital and community-based outreach programs to expand access to urological healthcare.
  • Research & Scholarship Engage in clinical research, quality improvement, or public health initiatives related to urology.
  • Share scholarly efforts through conference presentations and peer-reviewed publications.
  • Service & Community Engagement Serve on departmental, college, and university committees.
  • Collaborate with local agencies and community organizations to improve urological healthcare delivery and outcomes.
  • Contribute to institutional initiatives aimed at advancing clinical care and community education.
  • Academic Teaching & Mentorship As this is a primarily clinical position, teaching and mentorship are not requirements of the position at this time, however, there may be future opportunities to: provide high-quality teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows in clinical and didactic settings.
