Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician to join our team in Springfield, Missouri area. We offer flexible scheduling options in a collaborative and modern clinical environment. As a Physician at Mercy-GoHealth, you’ll independently provide a wide range of clinical services, including: Examining and treating patients with acute conditions Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests Making diagnoses and prescribing medications Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations Documenting patient progress and coordinating follow-up care Supervising and collaborating with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support Working 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality care in a modern, integrated healthcare environment, with room for professional growth and development. Requirements
- Board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
- Active state medical license
- 2 years of post-residency clinical experience, ideally in urgent care or emergency medicine.
- Experience treating patients across all age groups
- Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X-rays
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Comfortable collaborating with advanced practice providers
Responsibilities
