About The Position

With more than 350 locations nationwide, Urban Air Adventure Parks is an iconic, industry-leading brand entering its next phase of growth. The Growth Franchise Business Coach plays a critical role in that growth by partnering with established franchise owners to drive sustained revenue expansion, improved profitability, and a consistently exceptional guest experience across the system. This role owns the business performance of an assigned portfolio of mature locations, serving as a trusted advisor and performance coach. Through strong, trust-based partnerships, the Growth FBC leads data-driven business reviews, identifies opportunities and risks, and co-creates actionable growth plans that deliver measurable results. Success in this role requires the ability to influence without authority, balance empathy with accountability, and coach franchisees to work on their business—not just in it. This is an in-office role with up to 50% travel to support franchise partners in the field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, operations, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in multi-unit operations, franchise operations, consulting, or performance coaching roles.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including P&L management and KPI-driven decision-making.
  • Proven ability to coach experienced franchise owners on profitability, scale, and operational discipline.
  • Highly analytical, results-driven, and comfortable addressing underperformance directly.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to balance challenge and support.
  • Demonstrated success influencing leaders without formal authority.
  • Adaptable coaching style suited to sophisticated, growth-oriented franchisees.
  • Bias for action, resilience, and accountability in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a strategic performance coach for franchisees operating 25+ months, supporting sustained growth and profitability across their portfolio.
  • Leads in-depth, data-driven business reviews using financial statements, KPIs, and trend analysis to identify performance gaps and growth opportunities.
  • Coaches franchisees on advanced business levers, including pricing, labor optimization, cost control, throughput, membership growth, and leadership development.
  • Partners with franchisees to build and execute quarterly and annual growth plans, ensuring accountability to results, not just activity.
  • Conducts periodic on-site and virtual assessments focused on total business health, leadership effectiveness, and guest experience.
  • Identifies underperformance early through data and observation, addressing issues directly and constructively.
  • Balances empathy with accountability, challenging franchisees while maintaining strong, trust-based relationships.
  • Influences owners and operators through credibility, insight, and results rather than authority.
  • Reinforces brand standards and a guest-first mindset in all strategic and operational decisions.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional partners to address systemic barriers to growth while maintaining clear ownership boundaries.
  • Documents coaching sessions, action plans, and outcomes to track progress and inform leadership visibility.
