The Summer Instructor will build and teach one to three high school-level courses Monday through Thursday in Lab Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), Mathematics (Algebra through Calculus), or Foreign Language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, American Sign Language, etc.). Classes will be on a block schedule, and instructors will be compensated for both instruction and preparation time. The ideal candidate should be skilled in working collaboratively, fostering a nurturing environment for youth, and working with both large and small class sizes. They should demonstrate competency in the subjects they will teach and be motivated to inspire students to explore and make connections to class content. They should be detail-oriented and able to navigate a fast-paced and changing environment.
