Requirements
- High school diploma with 2-5 year’s experience, Associate’s degree with 1-3 years experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years of experience or equivalent
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures to generate reproducible data in a controlled laboratory environment
- Ability to routinely lift 50 pounds
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, data analysis software, and other related applications
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
- Ability to think critically and demonstrate troubleshooting/problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a biopharmaceutical environment and industrial fermentation scale-up a plus
Responsibilities
- Upstream fermentation processes to produce biotherapeutics
- Cell culture and aseptic technique including setting up bioreactors
- Cleaning, Steam in Place, and autoclaving of equipment
- Basic analytics and data acquisition
- Monitoring and replenishing lab reagents and solutions
- Maintain, calibrate, and operate instrumentation in the laboratory
- Document work as required for GMP compliance
- Execute work in accordance with standard operating procedures, with attention to detail, and with strong organizational skills
- Interact effectively with peers and leaders as part of a multi-disciplinary team
