About The Position

Upstream fermentation processes to produce biotherapeutics Cell culture and aseptic technique including setting up bioreactors Cleaning, Steam in Place, and autoclaving of equipment Basic analytics and data acquisition Monitoring and replenishing lab reagents and solutions Maintain, calibrate, and operate instrumentation in the laboratory Document work as required for GMP compliance Execute work in accordance with standard operating procedures, with attention to detail, and with strong organizational skills Interact effectively with peers and leaders as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Requirements

  • High school diploma with 2-5 year’s experience, Associate’s degree with 1-3 years experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years of experience or equivalent
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures to generate reproducible data in a controlled laboratory environment
  • Ability to routinely lift 50 pounds
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, data analysis software, and other related applications
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • Ability to think critically and demonstrate troubleshooting/problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a biopharmaceutical environment and industrial fermentation scale-up a plus
