About The Position

THIS JOB IS FOR A LOCALLY OWNED UPS STORE, NOT UPS THE DELIVERY COMPANY. WE DO NOT DRIVE TRUCKS OR DELIVER PACKAGES. WE ARE NOT A WAREHOUSE. THIS IS A RETAIL CUSTOMER SERVICE JOB AT A PRIVATELY-OWNED FRANCHISE BUSINESS. We’re hiring for our Myrtle Beach location! We are looking for someone dependable, friendly, and hard-working to join our team full-time. This job entails all day, every day customer service in a busy environment. Computer, internet, and phone skills are a must! NOTE: We’re busiest in December & January — availability during those months is required. THIS JOB IS: All-day customer service in a busy retail environment On your feet for your whole shift (7+ hours) Lifting packages (sometimes 50+ lbs), multitasking, staying upbeat under pressure, non-stop activity Helping customers with shipping/packing, printing, and business services (faxing, scanning/email, notary) THIS JOB IS NOT: NOT a warehouse or delivery job NOT with UPS Corporate NOT a desk job — you will be moving all day and helping customers WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH: Weekend/flexible availability Strong computer, internet, phone, and customer service skills Clear communication, attention to detail, self-starter Reliable, team player, long-term mindset (our training takes a lot of time!)
