The Hun School of Princeton seeks a dynamic, creative Upper School Science (Biology) Teacher beginning in August 2026. The science curriculum at Hun focuses on the process, practice, and skills of science comprehension by teaching inquiry and problem-solving. Students are encouraged to express curiosity about our world through an appreciation of the simplicity and complexity of science. The program relies on creativity, open-mindedness, inquisitiveness, and healthy skepticism, preparing students to intelligently address complex social issues arising from STEM developments. Laboratory investigations, guest speakers, fieldwork, and experiential learning are integral to the curriculum, fostering peer collaboration and critical thinking. The primary goal is to help students develop a capacity for lifelong learning, think critically and independently, and become scientifically informed citizens active in the global community. The Hun School of Princeton is a co-educational, private day and boarding school on a 50-acre campus in Princeton, New Jersey, serving nearly 700 students from twenty-two countries and fifteen states.
