St. Anne’s-Belfield School seeks a full-time mathematics teacher and advisor for the 2026-2027 school year. This role relies on someone who can confidently teach algebra through calculus and collaborate effectively with co-teachers of the same courses. A successful teacher in this position can explain concepts clearly, employ tools to make learning visible, adapt their practices to a modular schedule and an integrated math approach, and communicate effectively with students. Full-time classroom teaching experience, strong organizational and classroom management skills, and the ability to joyfully teach adolescents are required. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching high school-aged students in a standards-based learning environment (SBL), have experience teaching 90-minute classes, and hold a master's degree in mathematics, mathematics education, or a related field. As an independent school, we value community involvement and expect that the selected candidate will serve as a coach, and/or lead extracurricular programming beyond the classroom. Interested candidates should apply for this position on the St. Anne’s-Belfield’s Career Opportunities website.
