About The Position

The position is responsible for creating new client relationships for new business development and transaction execution. In addition, given the firm's belief in staffing deals with smaller teams, this role will have daily contact with other senior bankers, as well as manage a team of analytic professionals. Ziegler is interested in candidates located in, or who would be willing to relocate to the Chicago market preferably, or Milwaukee or Minneapolis as Ziegler has offices in all locations. This banker will be responsible for: Becoming integrated into the NFP Senior Living Finance team in the Midwest as part of our overall leading national senior living and care footprint. Covering numerous existing client relationships of the Firm and initiating and creating new client relationships and expanding the not-for-profit Senior Practice in the upper Midwest Living Finance practice. Maintaining client relationships during deal execution while working with Ziegler team members Originating, structuring and/or executing transactions. Performing high-level financial analysis on actual and prospective financing transactions (e.g. modeling, forecasting, and structuring); Preparing and delivering presentations to senior level executives and board members. A successful investment banker at Ziegler is a highly accomplished financial professional with proven experience providing solutions for clients. The person must be of superior intellect, with an immediate grasp of Ziegler’s competitive advantage and the changing dynamics of the core healthcare banking sectors, principally Healthcare Services. This individual will have a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in investment banking or concomitant corporate roles that nurture the attributes of a successful investment banker. Thriving in a team environment, this banker must possess a solid reputation as a “get it done” business-focused executive known as a driver of bespoke, client-centric solutions.

  • Proven leadership skills: this executive must be a proven leader with the highest standards of character and integrity.
  • Demonstrated access to clients and leaders in the senior living sector, being able to leverage the expertise of Ziegler.
  • The ability, in both written and oral presentations, to communicate confidently vision and direction.
  • An undergraduate degree from a well-regarded institution.
  • Results-oriented; pragmatic, hands-on style; a decision maker with bias toward action. Ability to execute aggressively against strategy and be sharply focused on delivery of specific business and performance objectives. In other words, this individual is:
