About The Position

8x8 connects our customers and teams globally, empowering CX leaders with performance and insights to make smarter decisions, delight customers, and drive lasting business impact. As a Senior Account Manager embedded in our field sales team, you will work under the direction of the Sales Director. Your role is to be the primary contact point for 8x8 customers. As such, driving customer success is critical to growing your book of business. You will be tasked with managing key customers throughout the UK and Europe, working with heads of functions and C level leaders supporting them with their business initiatives, especially their Cloud Communications journey, and ensuring they have a great customer experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency, problem-solving, and collaboration.
  • 5+ years of solution-based selling required (UCaaS, CCaaS, Hosted Solutions, Telecommunications, SaaS); SaaS highly preferred
  • Proven track record within Cloud Communications, Unified Communications, Contact Centre or SaaS
  • Thorough understanding of Subscription based sales
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex sales cycles and negotiating agreements based on value-based selling while consistently meeting and exceeding quota
  • Proven ability to handle revenue responsibility and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual financial goals
  • Skills in handling multiple commercial processes and identifying challenges to a positive outcome
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to details
  • Accurate forecaster
  • Deep understanding of business concepts for large national and international corporations
  • Strong ethic for fulfilling service requests and keen interest in forming relationships with executives
  • Willingness to conduct EMEA-wide travel as required
  • Skilled with creating and delivering presentations, online web demos and remote sales processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to convey and relate ideas to others
  • Track record of successful sales and account management experience, including holding commercial negotiations within a senior client base

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage relationships with current customers by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of their business and challenges and therefore their specific business needs as well as an in-depth understanding of the 8x8 solutions and the respective business impact
  • Maximise existing relationships to contact new business leads within the customer to maximise on cross sell and upsell opportunities
  • Pursue, negotiate, and close cross-sell opportunities maximising the customers use of the product and our opportunity with the customer
  • Work with internal teams, especially Professional Services, to ensure the customers are maximising the use of the solutions and services
  • Work closely with direct and channel sales teams throughout the sales processes
