About The Position

The Upholsterer will be responsible to make or repair upholstery for Living Spaces designed furniture. Perks of working at Living Spaces! Position Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Be responsible to make or repair upholstery for Living Spaces designed furniture. Fit, install, and secure material on frames, using hand tools, power tools, glue, cement, and/or staples. Build furniture up with loose fiber stuffing, cotton, felt, and/or foam padding to form smooth rounded surfaces. Make, restore, and/or create custom upholstered furniture, using hand tools and knowledge of sketches and design specifications. Basic knowledge of fabric and use of upholstery or cutting hand tools is a plus. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Tools and Equipment Used: Manual and power tools; calculator, ruler, scissors, and other basic and commonly used tools to develop and complete an upholstery production project. Certificates and Licenses: No certifications needed Position Hiring Range The hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant’s education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. P ay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets. Compensation: $19.00 - $25.38 Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI’s.
