About The Position

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, automating, and optimizing our Unix and Linux-based systems while integrating DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, enhance security, and automate workflows across development, testing, and production environments. Requirements

• Proficiency in Unix/Linux administration
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Knowledge of DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker)
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

Nice To Haves

• Experience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
• Experience with virtualization tools (e.g., VMware)
• Expertise in high-availability systems and disaster recovery

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Unix/Linux servers and systems
• Implement and manage automation tools for deployment
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Collaborate with development and operations teams
• Ensure system security and compliance
• Develop and maintain system documentation and procedures
