About The Position

The University Relations Talent Partner (URTP) is responsible for designing and delivering an integrated early talent strategy that attracts, engages, and converts students and emerging professionals into high-impact hires. This role partners closely with organizational leaders, HR and functional stakeholders to build and manage programs across apprenticeships, grant-funded talent pathways, internships for pipeline roles, and clinical rotations. The ideal candidate blends strategic program design with hands-on execution and strong relationship management across schools, faculty, workforce and community partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education or related field required.
  • 5-8+ years in talent acquisition, university relations, workforce development or clinical education programs.
  • Demonstrated success launching or scaling apprenticeships, internships or clinical rotation programs.
  • Experience with program design and project management with multi-stakeholder coordination.
  • Strong written/verbal communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms and campus recruiting tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with grants is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build a comprehensive early talent strategy in partnership with Talent Acquisition aligned to workforce plans, and critical skills needs across the organization
  • Establish governance, policy, and evaluation frameworks for early talent programs, including eligibility criteria, selection standards, and conversion pathways.
  • Partner with leaders and HR to scope apprenticeship roles, competency frameworks, and on the job training plans aligned to registered program requirements (where applicable).
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and regulatory reporting for grant programs.
  • Own the end-to-end internship lifecycle: workforce planning, role creation, job postings, campus engagement, candidate screening/selection, offers, onboarding, programming, performance checkpoints, and end of term evaluations.
  • Establish consistent assessment rubrics, conversion criteria, and post-intern offer processes.
  • Clinical Rotations - Build/maintain affiliation agreements with academic institutions ensuring adherence to clinical education standards, accreditation requirements, and site readiness.
  • Develop and grow strategic relationships with universities, community colleges, trade schools, and high schools prioritizing programs that align with hard to fill and critical skills.
  • Take point on finding, registering and coordinating for school based events
