We are seeking a University Relations Lead for our First Quality Enterprises company working remotely. The University Relations Lead will be part of First Quality’s Talent Acquisition team and be responsible for driving the strategy and day-to-day management of all campus recruitment activities, relationships, and initiatives supporting all First Quality companies. The role will design and execute engagement strategies with colleges, universities and professional associations to attract exceptional people and strengthen our talent pipeline. This is a high-profile, front-line role, with responsibility for delivering tailored, world class campus recruiting solutions across multiple functions, sites and business units. The role will include continuous improvement in processes and efficiencies as well as managing all strategic and tactical components required to effectively execute a campus recruitment program. The role requires leveraging proven interpersonal and networking skills to develop lasting relationships with career services, faculty, students, and professional organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of campus recruiting experience, either in a mid-to-large corporation, or at the university level working in a career services capacity
  • Able to travel during peak campus recruiting time periods, and as necessary during off-peak seasons
  • Solid working knowledge of full-cycle campus-recruiting practices gained from experience in a similar role
  • Understanding and experience of designing and managing campus advertising campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing and sourcing candidates in multitude of creative areas including social media and leveraging innovative technology to reach target audiences
  • Highly skilled in interviewing, negotiating, and influencing
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, influencing & decision facilitation skills
  • Competent user of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint as well as applicant tracking systems
  • Highly organized, with strong time management and prioritization capabilities, with ability to multi-task and self-manage
  • Ability to think strategically while maintaining an eye for detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills along with an ability to interact and develop networks in a professional manner across businesses and functions, as well as with external constituents
  • Travel is limited during off-campus recruitment cycles, but will become frequent during peak on-campus activity and summer internship event season.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with colleagues within each function and business unit, as well as with HR to drive, develop and execute campus recruitment strategies, which include internships, co-op programs, undergraduate and graduate level recruitment initiatives and position First Quality as an employer of choice
  • Develop relationships with specific university career services teams, student clubs, university leaders, and other campus influencers that will offer opportunities to identify and recruit top talent from each university
  • Engage key stakeholders and collaborate with corporate marketing to create and maintain compelling collateral that strengthens our employer brand across all outreach channels
  • Represent First Quality at key events including career fairs, association conferences, networking forums, virtual engagements, and non-recruiting activities such as resume workshops and advisory councils.
  • Track and analyze engagement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of outreach strategies and continuously improve results.
  • Develop year-round on campus activities that facilitate brand awareness and maximize sponsorship opportunities
  • In partnership with Marketing, develop and manage event collateral and launch contemporary social media strategies
  • Manage campus calendar and logistics including event registration, event details, and shipping schedule for event materials
  • Responsible for strategic and competitive management of campus event registration to ensure events are scheduled at the earliest possible dates
  • Manage campus resume deadlines for on-campus interview days and resume drops
  • Work internally with colleagues to develop campus teams for each school, with appropriate representatives
  • Partner with key Leaders to leverage them for key presentations and appearances at campus recruiting events
  • Assist with the headcount process and keep track of hiring and metrics which demonstrate results by school and event
  • Parter with HR and each business to ensure we employ an intern and co-op conversion strategy to ensure that we extend offers in a timely fashion and stay in constant communication
  • Manage and support all Internship/Co-Op Programs, including evaluation process & facilitation of hiring decisions
  • Candidate management including developing and closing offers
  • Implement new policies and procedures to drive the success of campus recruiting
  • Ensure all data relating to recruiting and candidate management are accurately maintained.
  • Manage campus recruiting budget
  • Play the lead event planning role in all campus related activities, regardless of location
