About The Position

The OPPORTUNITY – Universal Teller Intrepid Credit Union is dedicated to finding unique solutions for our members and serving with empathy. We are recruiting a Universal Teller to perform a crucial role on our member service team. They are responsible for processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cash advances. Opens new accounts and processes new and renewing CD’s. Balances each day’s transactions and cash totals. Answers Member’s questions regarding Credit Union services provided and performs a variety of account maintenance activities. Actively informs members of Credit Union products and services . Plays an important role in the teamwork of the member services area through serving members promptly and professionally. Additionally, the compensation for the Universal Teller position will be determined based on the successful candidate's skills and qualifications within our market range of $18.96 - $26.44/hour, DOE. Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Good math skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Timeliness, efficiency and accuracy, as well as professionalism, are vital to the success as a Universal Teller.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year previous experience in banking, cash handling role, or a related customer service field, preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in a cross-promotion environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to effectively analyze Member needs and assist or obtain appropriate assistance.
