The Universal Banker interacts with customers in a courteous, professional, and friendly manner to identify their needs, providing necessary products or cross-selling to appropriate bank areas for solutions. This role requires proficiency in all teller duties, including providing customer service at the teller line. Key responsibilities include managing IRA distributions and sales, processing debit card requests (activation, closure, deletion, hot carding, research), assisting customers with Internet Banking and other Retail Technological Products, and maintaining risk-related files for dormant, negative, write-off accounts, Money Service Business, Cash Management, Merchant Source Capture, and Consumer Source Capture customers. Additionally, the Universal Banker is expected to develop relationships with other bank employees to enhance teamwork, represent the Bank at civic and community events, participate in Retail meetings, adhere to compliance procedures, and engage in required training.
