We are seeking a Universal Banker to join our Sacramento, CA team! Requirements

  • Spanish Fluency, verbal and written preferred
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in banking or exposure to Consumer Lending
  • Ability to form and maintain strong relationships with internal and external
  • May be required to travel to cover other branches
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire consumer loan process from initiation through closing, including interviewing loan applicants, determining loan eligibility, reviewing applications for accuracy, and providing timely and accurate disclosures while operating with moderate credit authority and complying with the credit union's lending policies.
  • Greet and welcome members and visitors to the credit union in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide prompt, efficient and accurate service.
  • Open consumer and business accounts according to credit union policies.
  • Promote credit union products and services based on member’s needs.
  • Perform account transactions and maintenance as authorized, including processing share deposit payments, loan payments, CD transactions, lines of credit advances, and account transfers; disbursing cash and check withdrawals, counting cash and performing reconciliations; adding joint owners, completing address changes and competing any other necessary teller functions.
  • Open, close, and balance the cash drawer daily.
  • Maintain drawer cash levels within prescribed amounts.
  • Handle Vault Teller responsibilities, managing, balancing, and balancing cash flow in and out of the vault.
  • Balance ATM daily. (Part of dual control team.)
