As an Associate, United Academy Training at United Rentals, your primary responsibility is to support all aspects of United Academy's field operating procedures and sales processes with the objective of generating incremental revenue through lead generation and conversion. This is a hybrid role either in our corporate offices in Charlotte, NC or Scottsdale, AZ What you’ll do: Successfully close leads received through phone calls email, or self-generated Identify and generate new business through the use of sales and marketing tools Call on lost and/or dormant accounts to generate business Call on customers for recertification purposes Learn accurate use of United Rentals' computer systems for quotes, sales, booking, and territory management Coordinate with all United Academy departments (to include National Accounts) to support the delivery of training purchased to new and existing customers including but not limited to training availability across regions, creating quotes, scheduling the trainer's calendars, and special requests Work with customers to create new corporate accounts in United Academy Coordinate blended training requests with branch level certified evaluators Educate customers on equipment training offered through United Academy and other aspects of the UA value proposition Negotiate prices on training packages in accordance with training pricing policies and procedures Serve as the assigned regions and National Accounts single point of contact for training requests Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor
