About The Position

The Mission Concepts and Capabilities Division (MCC) of Applied Research Associates (ARA), Inc., is seeking several Unit Mobility Support Specialist professionals. The right candidates will manage deployment and re-deployment processes for squadron personnel and equipment, ensuring compliance with DoD, USAF, and COCOM guidance. Responsibilities include coordinating pre-deployment training, maintaining LOGMOD databases, validating TPFDD accuracy, and managing deployment reporting systems. We are seeking following number of right candidates for each location listed below: (3) Shaw AFB (2) Langley AFB (1) Davis Monthan AFB Essential Functions: Prepare and process individuals for deployments/re-deployments to/from combat zones, exercises, and other locations per DoD/AF guidance. Coordinate and schedule required pre-deployment training; ensure worldwide mobility training and records compliance. Monitor processing of personnel/equipment through PDF and CDF. Maintain LOGMOD databases and build DSOE for all UTCs tasked for TDY, exercises, or deployments. Provide movement documentation and ESP Codes to DCC and resource advisor for orders and resupply. Provide mobility personnel/equipment data to Installation Deployment Officer (IDO). Validate squadron TPFDD accuracy. Recommend procurement of deployment equipment; maintain and distribute equipment per AFI guidance. Maintain mobility requirements and UTC packages; submit purchase requirements to leadership. Manage deployment reporting (UTC posturing, ART, AF-IT, DRRS). Use LOGMOD and Excel to track mobility, logistics, training, and medical requirements. Coordinate travel with CTO, AMC liaison, and resource advisors. Coordinate with wing/base/higher HQ on mobility issues; maintain documentation IAW AFIs/AFMANs and supplements. Schedule pre-departure training; provide UDM access to ACES and SFMIS. Coordinate Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 2A training requirements for mobilizing personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelors with 0-2 years of experience working in a squadron-level or higher mobility office with UDM or equivalent responsibilities OR 6-8 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • 5+ years of experience in a non-UDM role in a combat operational flying squadron
  • Valid Government Driver’s License
  • Current / Active Secret security clearance
  • Must be a US citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Active Top Secret SCI clearance
  • Have recent experience supporting Squadron level or higher mobility office with UDM or equivalent
