Unit Manager RN
About The Position
Umpqua Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is committed to delivering exceptional skilled nursing and rehabilitation services in a compassionate, resident-centered environment. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Unit Manager RN to join our leadership team and help drive excellence in care. The Unit Manager RN is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing unit in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations governing long-term care facilities. This role works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure the highest quality of care and services are provided to our residents.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing with the State
- Available for weekend call rotation roughly every 6 weeks (TBD on the needs of the facility)
- Knowledge of general, rehabilitative, and restorative nursing practices
- Understanding of long-term care regulations, guidelines, and standards
- Previous long-term care experience preferred; healthcare-related experience required
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
