Requirements

  • Associate's degree or above in Nursing (ASN) or Practical Nursing Diploma required.
  • Clear and active Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN Licensure in the state of practice required.
  • One (1+) years nursing experience required with prior Sub-Acute Care or Long-Term Care nursing experience preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing preferred.
  • Valid State license.

Nice To Haves

  • One to three years (1-3) years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and restoring health of resident patients
  • Acting as a main point of contact between residents and their families
  • Addressing and preventing concerns from family members
  • Supervises nursing staff and others for whom they are administratively or professionally responsible.
  • Adheres to and oversees communication of privacy guidelines relative to the confidentiality of residents' protected health information.
  • Participates in (or conducts) company-sponsored training to safeguard against improper use and disclosure of such information.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and state and federal law.
