About The Position

Unit Coordinator Per Diem The Unit Coordinator at the Facility manages the clerical functions of the nursing unit necessary to provide patient care. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position. Staff must demonstrate flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations. Requirements

  • A minimum of a high school education or GED.
  • Must have prior switchboard experience.
  • Must be able to type 40 WPM or better.
  • Requires a knowledge of genral office and phone skills as well as excellent organization and writtent communication skills.
  • Must have legible handwriting.
