Applicant will be performing both preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on a variety of facility plumbing systems, and of varying conditions. This position requires experience in working on these types of systems and with the tools required to perform maintenance to same. The position may be called upon to perform or work alongside other general maintenance and support duties on an as-needed basis. What is your day to day? Demonstrate knowledge of plumbing building equipment and systems required to operate and maintain plumbing equipment and systems. Perform Backflow Certifications. Training reimbursement is available. Demonstrate the ability to anticipate potential problems and take appropriate actions to maximize the condition of facility structures and assets. Plan and layout work details in the assembly, installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of plumbing systems and equipment. Troubleshoot and correctly repair all aspects of plumbing systems.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license
  • Plumbing Journeyman’s and/or State License is required
  • Backflow certification is required (or ability to obtain within first 90 days of employment).
  • High school diploma or state equivalent required
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and local codes.
  • Team player, hard worker, good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills are required
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of overall MEP system design and application.
  • Experience managing work orders, utilizing CMMS technology
  • Experience working in a service-related role, specific to commercial facilities.
