About The Position

The position involves operating sewing machines, performing hand stitching and embroidery as needed, and inspecting and repairing uniforms. The role also includes creating uniforms from patterns, taking measurements, and providing alterations. Additionally, the individual will maintain other articles such as linens and draperies by performing necessary repairs. Responsibilities extend to issuing uniforms to Team Members, completing all required documentation per departmental guidelines, and ordering uniforms as needed to ensure adequate inventory and availability. The individual is expected to maintain cleanliness and safety in the wardrobe area, select appropriate patterns, materials, and equipment, assist in laundry operations when required, and support distribution tasks including bag handling, dry cleaning check-in, and filing. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

• Ability to operate all equipment
• Ability to distinguish between colors
• Ability to work under time constraints
• Familiarity with all aspects of sewing and sewing machine use
• Knowledge of materials and ability to make uniforms from patterns
• Good communication skills
• Ability to communicate with Team members and guests
• Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
• Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
• Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, twisting, bending and lifting

• Assists in laundry operations when required
• Supports distribution tasks including bag handling, dry cleaning check-in, filing, etc.
• Performs all other duties as assigned
