Learn more about the office by visiting the ODJFS OUIO webpage at jfs.ohio.gov/ouc. What You'll Do As Supervisor of Unemployment Staff in the Integrity Bureau you will provide support and direction. This is a unique opportunity to supervise staff who will provide will work within multiple programs in the Integrity Bureau. Knowledge of adjudication processes as well as tax principles will help you provide guidance to your staff. Under general direction, oversees and monitors the daily operations of Unemployment Insurance (UI) staff, including Examiners and Specialists involved in claimant and employer activities. Supervises assigned personnel, directs the implementation of policies, and provides training on procedures related to Unemployment Insurance. Analyzes data from various systems (e.g., Ohio Job Insurance [OJI], State of Ohio Unemployment Resource Center for Employers [SOURCE]) and audit reports to identify vulnerabilities. Develops and maintains reports and records using tools such as data mining applications. Interprets U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) regulations within the context of Ohio's UI programs to support administrative decision-making. Challenges: Supporting claimant and employer programs. Pivoting quickly based on program needs.
