Requirements

A bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience in the insurance brokerage industry.
In-depth knowledge of underwriting, regulatory compliance, and industry standards.
Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex problems with ingenuity and strategic thinking.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Technological proficiency, including experience with Excel, Word, and network systems, to facilitate decision-making and automation.
A self-directed approach with excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Leading underwriting decisions and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Building and nurturing relationships with carrier partners and industry stakeholders.
Designing and implementing processes to streamline operations and drive growth.
Supporting producers by sourcing distribution and managing referrals.
Strategically planning for the program’s expansion, including hiring and developing a team of underwriters.
