Position Come join WCF insurance as an Underwriting Intern for an educational hands-on approach to learning about insurance and mitigating risk. This is a full-time (40 hours per week), temporary position that works out of WCF's Sandy, Utah headquarters for the summer. After the internship, there is a possibility of a part-time or full-time position in the Meridian office. Work part-time while you attend school with full benefits or move into a full-time role as an underwriter if graduated. As part of our internship cohort, you'll collaborate with fellow interns and departments to learn insurance from many different angles. The program includes weekly paid training sessions on insurance terminology and regular opportunities to share experiences and insights with your cohort.
Requirements
- Interest in learning about insurance.
- Completed three to four years of higher education.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
