About The Position

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Operate underground mining equipment safely and efficiently Perform scaling, mucking, and material handling to support production Conduct routine equipment checks and basic maintenance Follow all safety protocols and actively contribute to hazard reporting Support mine operations through teamwork and effective communication
Requirements
- Ability to work safely in an underground mining environment
- Competence in operating or learning to operate heavy mobile equipment
- Strong situational awareness and adherence to safety procedures
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks in varied conditions
- Willingness to work collaboratively and adapt to operational needs
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
