The Department of Geography in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences is seeking summer Undergraduate Research Assistants. The Research Assistant position will be 30-40 hours/week during the summer months. Job duties for the successful candidate will include the following: Assist with field work and water quality data acquisition in the field Assist with acquisition of publicly available data and quality control Conduct data analysis, which will include not only analysis of collected data, but also relevant literature review and synthesis of both publicly available and previously published data. Other administrative tasks as assigned/needed to support project goals. Position can range from 10-40 hours/week in summer, and part-time hours are possible in fall. Application review will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
