About The Position
Position Summary... The Internship The Walmart Onsite Energy Solutions Team Internship is an 11-week program held during the summer of 2026. It is open to undergraduate students graduating between December 2026 and August 2027. This paid internship will prepare associates for a career with Walmart Energy. Interns will work on meaningful projects, network with industry experts, and develop their skills while having an enriching summer experience. About the Walmart Energy Team Walmart Energy Solutions aims to decarbonize our operations while capturing emerging new value streams that help catalyze societal decarbonization. Our foundational pillars are: Drive Clean Energy Security and Affordability Build Distinctive, Value-Creating Businesses Maintain Zero Emissions Leadership The Walmart Energy Team delivers value-creating energy infrastructure solutions that decarbonize our operations and help catalyze societal decarbonization through power, transportation, and within our facilities. Our team is engaged in Renewable Energy Strategy, Sustainable Facilities and Acceleration, Business Strategy and Partnerships, Utility Partnerships, Mobility Strategy, Business Development for Retail Charging, Engineering, and Construction Operations, and Energy Project Development. Energy Business Insights Intern you will work with the Walmart Energy Team on a project to support the analysis and interpretation of data to aid the team. Areas of work may include Renewable Energy, Utility Partnerships, and Mobility Strategy, Business Development.
Requirements
- Actively enrolled in an undergraduate degree program.
- Expected graduation date between December 2026 and August 2027
- 0-2 years of full-time relevant experience
- Passion for Energy and Development
- Interest in Renewable Energy
- Collaboration-first working style
- Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong time-management skills
- Willingness to relocate to Walmart's Home Office Hub (Bentonville, AR) after graduation.
