Come join us in delivering better outcomes for our clients around the world! 2026 Undergraduate Summer Intern – Job Posting Department Title: Undergrad Intern – _Global Fund Administration & Oversight (“GFAO”) – Global Fund Expense & Budgets (“GFEB”) Please read before applying: Start Date: All interns must start in office and in person on June 8, 2026. Anticipated End Date: August 14, 2026 – All interns must be in office and in person on their last day to return equipment. Interns must be located in the same location throughout the duration of their internship and are prohibited from returning laptop/equipment to a different office location or shipping their equipment back. Position Summary: The Global Fund Expense & Budget team (“GFEB”) within Franklin Templeton’s Global Fund Administration & Oversight group (“GFAO”) oversees and provides guidance and information necessary to the third party administrators (“TPAs”) such as J.P. Morgan (“JPM”) and BNY Mellon (“BNY”) to properly accrue and budget Fund expenses. GFEB performs oversight of expense ratios, budgets, prospectus disclosures, product analysis, and fund expenses. The team also reviews, prepares analysis and provides approval of certain fund invoices, including custody, fund accounting, fund administration. In addition, the team closely with Product on various expense analysis related to fund launches, liquidations and mergers, By utilizing reporting from the TPAs, supplemented by digital tools, understand oversight model focused on exception based reporting and risk based framework Team Culture: Diverse global team which collaborates with other areas within GFAO, TPAs and work closely with Legal and Product on Fund events. Team is supportive and fast moving with open communication and transparency. Department priorities are Engage, Innovate & Own It! An intern in this department can expect to learn: Differences in fund expenses based upon product and jurisdiction Utilization of digital tools and exception-based oversight Gain an understanding how expenses directly impacts the pricing of Mutual Funds and ETFs.

Requirements

  • Entering junior or senior year of undergraduate degree
  • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Familiarity and use of excel and / or digital tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Curiosity to learn, add value, and innovative

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate fund invoices pertaining to fund expenses such as Pricing services, Custody, Fund Accounting and Fund Admin fees through leveraging digital tools
  • Involved with review of expense items disclosed in the Fund’s annual prospectus updates
  • Preparation of expense information for board reporting
  • Further exposure to digital tools related to expense reporting and analysis to assist with oversight
