Anticipated End Date: August 14, 2026 – All interns must be in office and in person on their last day to return equipment. Interns must be located in the same location throughout the duration of their internship and are prohibited from returning laptop/equipment to a different office location or shipping their equipment back. Position Summary: The investment accounting and reporting team is responsible for the fund administration for our private funds which consist of private equity and hedge fund of funds and comingled investment vehicles, the investment accounting and reporting for client investments in alternative investments as well as overseeing the reporting operations which support the consolidated performance reporting for ASG clients. The work done by the intern over the summer will help with the firm’s initiative to scale investing in alternative investments. It will be critical to the centralization of the operations, accounting and reporting of alternatives which supports this initiative. Team Culture: The team works closely with the Client Service team, Portfolio Managers and the Performance team. Our responsibility is the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of data reported to clients related to their investments held with multiple custodians and in multiple asset classes including alternative investments (investments in our private funds as well as other third party fund managers) An Alternative Investments Reporting and Accounting Intern at Franklin Templeton can expect to learn: Gain knowledge about alternative investments Experience of working with other groups throughout the firm, including portfolio management team, performance team and custody team
