Location : Rancho Cordova, California - the candidate must be able to commute into the Rancho Cordova office 3 days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. An intern in this department can expect to learn: Interns in GSS gain valuable exposure to real‑world financial operations and customer experience, including: Communicating daily with financial advisors and shareholders while applying product, policy, and service‑related knowledge Practicing professionalism, confidentiality, and customer‑focused problem solving Understanding regulatory requirements and completing financial and non‑financial transactions accurately Participating in comprehensive new‑hire training, ongoing development courses, peer mentoring, and regular coaching from your management team

Requirements

  • Enrollment as an undergraduate student
  • Ability to work 15+ hours per week with at least 20 hours of weekly availability
  • Interest in financial services or a desire to learn about the investment management industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Comfort using computer systems and learning new technology
  • Internship training begins June; students must be available through Summer and Fall, with the possibility of extension
